Young black and female 💕

I’ve always felt it hard to find my place in the world, let alone my community, because there wasn’t a large black community that I grew up in. All kids tease each other and so forth, but being an adult is an entirely different thing. Accountability and action matter every single day in every move you make. I always dealt with that with my white skin friends who maybe don’t always get me 100 percent because being black in that sense is unique to me. I think when I was younger what could have helped me was being even more aware of my difference, kind of not knowing how to handle any bullying as an empath, someone who can pick up on energies very easily, so I turned to being sort of a pushover, or allowing things to slide, but this is not the time to let things slide. I have a white/Jewish mother who is also a Latina, there fore I am white/Jewish/Latina/black/creole/and have Native American/indigenous ancestry as well. I definitely have felt in so many situations where I didn’t belong or was missing something somehow, or maybe I didn’t voice my self enough. My moms best friends growing up also had kids relatively young. Angie, a young black mother and Edward her spouse a young white/Latino father. I can’t even admit this Daly struggle of just simply being a black skinned girl/ and then now a black skinned woman in America, even a black/brown skinned woman who has traveled in other cities and countries abroad. Where people are not valuing beauty within, there fore looking to value external beauty, but even then we are sheep, let’s get the best product and look so great. I don’t think abiding to old school magazine perfect media bullshit makes for a good personality or character. I believe we all have it underneath just waiting to burst, but who’s allowing that energy to come through except ourselves. No one stands in your way except you.. I think there’s a shit ton of fear about being a black woman in The America’s, specifically the United States, and that’s a personal journey that women face alone that men will never know. I think black is beautiful, just as the night and stars are beautiful, the earth is beautiful and everything within it. Like we are each hand crafted for something unique, And I think the ability to find our voice this is absolutely our power as well as coming together and utilizing each other for a “picture” bigger which is Love. The love over flowed in our cups and we get to drink from it knowing we are embracing the light and getting comfortable with it, owning it, becoming, embracing the dark as well, unfolding and waking up to like goddesses and queens. Understanding our own masculine energy to direct ourselves further down a stable and supported path, which might not always have been stable and supported, but when it comes from women who do the work, inside and outside, we clear and we naturally clean that shit up so both eyes can realize and stabilize all that we can while we are here . We don’t always have someone walking behind us besides our ancestors. So it’s important to be thankful for family who are there with you always. My mom 100% is right behind me rooting for me to just be me and it’s important to just keep going and tell a family member you support them in there endeavor into blossoming and blooming into who they came here to be.
